Crowds follow the yellow brick road to Coleshill

In front of a packed audience, students from the Coleshill School put on a fantastic performance of The Wizard of Oz over three nights in December.

Staff and students had worked so hard and, after weeks of rehearsals, all the practice paid off as the end result was fantastic.  The students looked the part in their costumes and the show was a real success.

On Wednesday 7 December pupils from Coleshill CE Primary and St Edwards’ RC Primary enjoyed a preview of the performance.

Headteacher Ian Smith-Childs said:

It was great to see so many parents and people from the local community enjoying this fabulous show.  Everyone involved worked tirelessly both behind the scenes and in front of the audience. The students who performed are so talented, I was so proud of them all.”
