Families and businesses will flock to Arthur Terry School this Saturday when the eighth Four Oaks Community Fair takes place.
The free community event – which runs from 10am to 1pm and features a range of activities and stalls – is this year supported by a grant from the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council.
Sue Bailey, assistant headteacher at Arthur Terry School and strategic lead for Sutton Locality Children’s Centres, said:
This community event really does offer something for everybody. It showcases local activities, clubs and small businesses and refreshments are available.”
Attractions include performances by Sutton Choirs, Hill West School and Moor Hall School. There is drama and dancing as well as archery, rugby and football.
Four Oaks Toy Library and Creation Station will offer activities for under fives, while a bear hunt, face painting ,soft play and a special appearance by The Lollipop Ponies should keep older children busy all morning.
Many other local business will be present, as well as a variety of services offering advice and support for families and young people across Sutton.
