Fantastic fantasy fiction as new children’s author Dave Rudden visits Coleshill School

The Coleshill School hosted a visit from Dave Rudden, children’s author, as part of his tour to celebrate the publication of his debut fantasy novel ‘Knights of the Borrowed Dark’.

Children in Years 5 and 6 from Coleshill CE Primary, St Edward’s RC Primary and Woodlands School joined students in Year 7 from The Coleshill School.

It was a great opportunity for all the students to meet an author.  Dave drew them into the fantasy world of his new book with interactive activities during the morning.

The children were really excited to meet the author of a published book and have a copy of the book signed by him.   Dave gave them inspiration and encouragement for their own reading and writing.  The visit was a real success.
